Touch screen retrofits on customer-provided monitors: We will install touch screen hardware on monitors that you send to us (SGI models or otherwise). Pricing is affected by touch screen technology, size, quantity, and difficulty of touch screen installation. Typically, we can support seven day turn-around from the day the customer monitor is received. Typical cost for touch screen installation services is $175. The customer pays for all shipping costs. Prices below include touch screen hardware and SGI IRIX touch screen driver software:

Touch screen hardware and non-Unix driver software: We will provide you touch screen hardware (any technology) so that you or we can install same on your monitors. Pricing is affected by touch screen technology, size, and quantity. Touch screens are available in sizes 9" through 27". Typical touch screen hardware pricing (for TS hardware, touch screen controller, power supply or power connector, all cables and SGI IRIX driver software) is as shown above (for qty. 1 to 9 units).
Touch screen driver software : We will provide touch screen driver software for the customer who prefers to purchase their touch monitors or touch hardware from other sources. We have off-the-shelf, commercially available touch screen driver solutions for every major version of Unix running on Intel-based PC, Power PC, or vendor-specific workstation hardware. We offer quantity pricing as well as site, project, and OEM licensing for larger quantity purchases. Pricing for Unix micro drivers (Qty. 1 to 9) starts at $300. Pricing for Unix workstation and NeXTstep drivers (Qty. 1 to 9) starts at $500. We are experts at developing custom drivers for customers who require such solutions. SGI IRIX driver pricing is as follows:

Touch
Screen configured X Terminals and Netstations. Pricing depends on
size and options selected for the basic X Terminal/Netstation, as well as
touch screen technology, touch screen size, and quantity. Pricing available
upon request. All solutions are compatible with SGi workstations.
Rack-mounted touch-configured monitors. Pricing depends on
the size of the monitor, touch screen technology, touch screen size, and
quantity. Typically, pricing falls in the $1,050 to $1,450 range.
Ruggedized (NEMA 12, 4, and 4X) enclosures configured for touch
monitors. Pricing depends on the size of the enclosure, level of
ruggedization, enclosure options required, touch screen technology, touch
screen size, and quantity. Typically, pricing falls in the $1,200 to $1,900
range.
Kiosk
enclosures configured for touch monitors. Pricing depends on the size
and design of the enclosure, enclosure options, touch screen technology, touch
screen size, and quantity. Typically, pricing falls in the $899 to $1,300
range for off-the-shelf enclosures. Near-custom or fully custom enclosures are
also available.
